Hey friends! Long time no chat. 🙂
Like all good bloggers I’ve spent a few months focusing on my Instagram too much while blazing my way through my last semester of Grad School, and my poor blog has sat unattended to. I’ve also decided to spend more time blogging not just about vacation planning and tips (although you can expect some of that too of course) but also just sharing my recent park trips, photos, eats and sweets I’ve loved, experiences, and overall the reasons why I love Disney parks so much! Less informative, more personal. This will include previous experiences that I love, similar to my recap of one of my most magical nights of all time, our one-year anniversary at California Grill in the Contemporary Resort at WDW. You can read it here if you want!
My favorite bloggers and instagrammers are the ones I feel like I get to know a little better, and so I want you to get to know me, and to get to know you! So I’ll restart with a little introduction and some fun facts. 🙂
I’m 28 and live in San Diego, even though I grew up in Albuquerque, NM. My first trip to Disneyland was at 4 years old, and while we had multiple Disneyland trips growing up, most of my trips to California were more about dance camps and the beach, and so I really didn’t get into the world of Disney until I was an adult! My husband Justin and I have known each other since middle school, have been dating for about 7 years, and have been married almost 2 years. 🙂 He is also the main reason I got so into the Disney parks. He prioritized us purchasing APs as soon as we moved to California, his parents are Disney Vacation Club members and are responsible for my obsession with Walt Disney World.
I’m in grad school (for the next 4 weeks!!!!) for an MS in Data Analytics, and obviously the dream would be to work for Disney in some sort of analyst or business strategy role.
My favorite attractions are Space Mountain, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Expedition Everest. Honorable mentions for Frozen, Big Thunder (Disneyland’s though), Philharmagic, and Spaceship Earth (which is getting a major renovation this year and I can’t wait to see what they imagine up next!
While I usually will grab a few posed photos for Instagram while I’m in the parks, our park time is REALLY about time together. It’s almost always just us in the parks, but we also go with my sister or his entire family on special occasions too! Disney is the perfect place to spend time with family because you’re often stuck in line with nothing to do but hang out for hours at a time. 😉 It is by far my fave part of the parks. So here’s some real life park photos of what it’s like to hang out with us.

So what about you!? When was your first visit to the parks? What is your favorite ride? I can’t wait to learn more about you guys. Leave a comment to share!
